‘Convince your Boss’ Letter

Dear [insert manager’s name],

We’ve been using Report Exec for [insert period of time] now, and with it, our department has become more efficient and processes have become more streamlined. However, I feel like our team can increase our potential by using this software, and we can maximize our return on investment by learning how to use more aspects of it.

The second annual Report Exec Convention is taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 5-6, 2017, and we really should make an effort to attend this event. It’s a great opportunity for us to connect with the Report Exec trainers and learn about how we could use program in new, unique ways based on our specific needs. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders on the cutting edge of what’s new and what’s next. Some other takeaways I want to get out of the conference include:

–[insert goal]
–[insert goal]
–[insert goal]

Learning more about these items will allow our team to thrive in the months to come. Here’s an approximate breakdown of what my costs to attend RXC would be:

–Registration: $600
–Airfare:
–Transportation (to and from the airport, about 15 minutes each way):
–Hotel:
–Meals (breakfast, lunch, and two receptions are included):
TOTAL:

After attending RXC, I would submit a post-conference summary to you, which would include a set of steps that we should take to continue to make the most of the Report Exec platform. I’d also be happy to share relevant information other members of our team and with other departments.
