Man arrested for stashing gun in hotel

A North Carolina man has been arrested for allegedly hiding a firearm in the lobby of a New York hotel. The New York Post reported that the suspect, 59-year-old Bobby Glen Jackson, was detained by police officers in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and was extradited to New York City to face charges. According to CBS affiliate WISH-TV, a 19-year-old female student at Franklin College was assaulted and robbed at knifepoint by an unknown assailant outside of a campus building.
